At the end of our trip to Indiana & Michigan, Gabe & I managed to spend a day and a half in Chicago before flying out reeeaaaalllllly super early. I mention the early part because it was. Really early, that is, and it took me about a week to recover from all the walking around the city/getting up so early to get to the airport.
Anyway, one place that Gabe insisted on going to is the Hoosier Mama Pie Company. He'd seen it mentioned online in a city guide, and wanted to see it so we went! We did end up taking a taxi, though, because I'm six months pregnant and it was not in the downtown area where we stayed.
It is a super cute, vintage-y, tiny little place with three tables that I think each only fit two people.
It was warm & we had already done a lot of walking around that day, thus my awesome hair style.
I ordered apple pie and Gabe got the chocolate cream. They were both very tasty!
