I was inspired by my friend Alece's post- 100 Things, and thought that the day before I attend a blogging conference & meet new friends would be a great time to post something similar here!
- I've lived in more states than my parents have.
- More than my siblings, too.
- Our first year of marriage, I probably cooked less than 5 times.
- likely only 10 times the second year.
- In the last 6 months, even with my pregnant food aversions, I'm sure I've quadrupled that. (Some things do change.)
- I have two large-ish scars on my left leg.
- One originated from rollerblading
- the other is where they took skin to graft the first. People still stare, 13 years later.
- I don't wear shorts often.
- I used to be a live-in nanny
- for 6 children. I was 21.
- I was also crazy.
- I used to think sewing was stupid because I didn't like when my mom or gram made matching clothes for my sisters and I.
- It took me two attempts to finally be ready to learn to sew.
- I didn't remember how to thread my machine between my first and scond lesson, so I had to wait until my second for my teacher to show me how again before I could practice.
- Gabe and I dated/were engaged long distance for almost four years.
- I recommend this to no one.
- It makes for a very difficult beginning to marriage when you've never really lived life in the same city/region prior to living together.
- I'm glad we made it work anyway, but it was certainly hard work.
- I don't eat coconut.
- I like the flavor, but the texture is awful.
- I thought I was a city girl,
- but having chickens has made me wonder about raising pigs, too
- and possibly even a cow or two.
- I'm pretty sure chickens are as far as my husband is willing to take this backyard farming thing.
- That's ok. I like him better than animals.
- He cleans up the chicken poop.
- We're in our seventh home in just over seven years of marriage.
- They've all been in Albuquerque.
- We're picky renters, apparently.
- We're also staying where we're at most likely until we leave the southwest.
- Babies and moving once a year don't mix.
- Chickens don't, either.
- I used to love cute shoes
- Now I like nice purses
- and comfy shoes.
- Most of my clothes are from Target
- and I'm mostly ok with that
- because most of my purses are from Anthropologie
- and I like nice purses. :)
- I'm so excited to meet this baby I'm carrying around
- I'm a lot nervous, too.
- Not to meet the baby, but to be the mother of a baby.
- Forever is a long time.
- It can go by pretty quickly, though, too.
- I'm anxious to sleep on my belly again and wonder if I'll even like it anymore.
- I wonder strange things.
- I sortof love mismatched sheets.
- I love runny eggs.
