I've been doing some knitting lately. I've also been pulling out my knitting and bending my knitting needles in my car door.
It's riveting, you know.
I bought this yarn (in oatmeal) last week at JoAnns, with a coupon (as usual), and a pair of size 15 needles because this girl doesn't mess around with anything smaller than size 11. I haven't the patience for dainty knitting.
Around here, we're preparing for our trip to Michigan- we leave in three days! I just found out I am allowed to bring my knitting needles on the plane, so that's exciting. Really, I am excited.
We're getting the last of our shopping and errands done this weekend, but are trying to also have some slow-down time.
I've spent the last few days torn between mourning for those that lost their precious family members in Connecticut, but also looking so forward to seeing my own family in just a few short days. I pray that we would all extend grace upon grace to each other and that we take nothing or no one for granted.
