Things I Can't Stop Thinking About

Untitled

There were fifteen things running through my mind to write tonight as I drove around our desert mountain city, and now they're not even a memory- I literally can't remember any of it. I do, however, remember some of the things I've read this week that have stuck out in my mind and I'd love to share a few here, for your reading and viewing pleasure.

Kristen and Elizabeth Esther have begun a new video series on Kristen's blog called Right Mom, Left Mom. I'm not kidding- it's maybe my favorite blog series ever, and they're only two deep so far. They are filming episodes of themselves discussing politics as a liberal christian and republican catholic and I love how respectful they are of each other. I'm not kidding- go watch.

Emily writes of loving others by learning them & what sets them on fire. I just love this post and what it challenges- I have very few people in my life that are easy for me to just open up to, but those that I can are those that know me and who I am. I want to love others actively like this.

Kacia shared a giveaway for a book, Unglued, that I need to read, stat. Here's my version: Have you ever become unglued? Okay, read it. The end.

Tomorrow(Friday) is one of my favorite nights of the month- craft night at Hip Stitch. It might seem trivial to some, but that lounge often becomes my home away from home and to spend a few hours hours creating and being around others that speak fabric & creativity? It's refreshing. I always come home smiling. Gabe probably thinks Suzanne dopes me, but I swear, it's the fabric. :) If you're local and interested, email me for details! We'd love to have you!
