Weekend Thrift Haul
Happy Monday! I hope you had a sweet weekend like we did! Because it's Monday, it's time to share my thrift haul, and this weekend didn't disappoint. We did go to a few places in Santa Fe, but I didn't have much luck there. We went straight to the opening day of our grower's market saturday morning, and across the street from where we parked, there was a small yard sale with nothing priced. I picked these little hankies? Napkins? Up for $2.00 and felt it was a good deal for both of us. After the market, gave dropped me off at a warehouse sale I'd heard about at Kiwi Industries, and I know, I know....it wasn't a 'thrift' store, but I scored like it was, so I'll share it, thankyouverymuch. I bought 5 yards of this beautiful fabric for only $16!!! Dang, right? Next up- we dropped by my in-law's house where Gabe told his mom that he really, really wants us to get bikes and she proceeds to tell us that there had been a block sale near his grandpa's house that morning, and his dad had donated an old bike to the sale! Fortunately, it didn't sell, so Gabe now has a bike to pick up today! (if you're local & have a women's bike for free or cheap, let me know! We're interested!) We decided to hit up a few ore sales, and I'm glad we did. I got this little bundle of chambray for .25! And then, I got this old jar that I'm sure I'll get a lot of use from for $1! There were even some old spaghetti noodles, but I decided against keeping those! And, for posterity's sake, one more jar photo because it shows off my curtains that I never ended up sharing on the blog. So, that's my thrift haul! I feel so fortunate with my recent finds! Did you score big while thrifting this weekend?
